Hurricane Dorian Update Sanibel

Hope I’m not Jinxing us by writing this now on Labor Day Sept 2nd.  But Dorian looks to be sparing the West Coast of Florida.  Below is the latest path image.   Sanibel & Captiva will get 20-25 mph winds with some higher gusts.  Typical afternoon thunderstorm stuff.   Sending Prayers to those in the Bahama’s, the early pictures about what would be expected with a Cat 5 parked over you for 6 hours.

The post front fishing will be spectacular, the transition to fall fishing is well under way. Major bait runs are starting, there are tarpon in fishable numbers and will increase.  The larger redfish have shown up, lots of sharks, mackerel, snapper, and plenty of snook making an appearance.  Some nice sized Gator Trout are around as well.  So quit wishin and start fishin!  Book your Sanibel Fishing Charter or Captiva Fishing Charter Now!
